The Chiorchoir

Psalm 150:1-6:  “Praise ye the Lord.  Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.  Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.  Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.  Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.  Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.  Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord”.
The Church of Divine's Guidance Choir was created with the express purpose of giving God all praise, honor and glory with every musical gift and talent available.   It is comprised of men and women committed to spreading God’s Word in song.  They minister in several genres, including spirituals, anthems, contemporary gospel and hymns. The Praise and Worship team is designed to lead the congregation into the presence of God and set the tone for the entire service, opening the hearts to receive God’s uncompromised Word into good ground. Rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. in the Main Sanctuary.

New Chior Membership is open by Audition ONLY.

Psalm 149:1-4: "Praise the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, His praise in the assembly of the saints. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King. Let them praise His name with dancing and make music to him with tambourine and harp. For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with salvation".
"In Unison" is recruiting Praise and Worship Team Dancers. Ages 4 and up are welcome to join us Saturdays at 11AM. We practice for 60 minutes. No dance experience required. Please have a love for God and willingness to learn. Message or email: Carol Johnston Woodhouse (In-Unison) with your contact information or questions.

mimeThe Mime Ministry

2nd Samuel 6:14-15: David, wearing a linen ephod, danced before the LORD with all his might, while he and the entire house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouts and the sound of trumpets.
Mime Praise Dancing is expressing lyrics to a song through dance. To me, mime is more than just dance. It's the ability to allow God to move in me, in a way that's spiritual. Each move, each step is all to God's glory. This is a gift My Heavenly Father has given me, I intend to continue to praise and honor him, for its all to his glory.
